Butterfly Websites

Small Pearl-bordered Fritillary

There are lots of great websites to help you learn more about butterflies.

To me, the most important is Butterfly Conservation – the website of the leading charity for saving Britain’s Butterflies. They have been around for many years and I have been a member since their early days. When I first became interested in butterflies they provided me with invaluable help in learning more and the local branch networks have some very friendly, dedicated volunteers that make joining well worthwhile.

Another excellent website for help with identification and learning is UK Butterflies. This is a very well run and professional website that is well worth exploring further.

If you are interested in learning more about moths, then  take a look at the UK Moths website. This is another very comprehensive and informative website that is well worth a visit.
